I always love getting to know my wedding couples before their weddings! This engagement session took place with only 4 days before their big day! I had met up with Stephanie and her mom awhile back to talk all about their wedding photography. Once her husband-to-be Chris was back in town, we went for it! Stephanie and Chris met me on a gorgeous sunny evening in Chilliwack. I took them to two of my favourite places to shoot. The hazelnut grove, and the abandoned gas station. LOVE!
Their wedding day, this past Saturday had no sunshine. No, not even a hint of sun. Let me just say, they were totally awesome and rocked their umbrellas! We totally used the rain to our advantage! Photos from their lovely wedding up next on the blog!

OK, here are the images I promised of Stephanie & Chad. My winners of the contest, FLAUNT YOUR ROCK. I am sad that they didn’t win the national part of the contest Sunday. However, I am glad they won here! It was great to finally meet up and shoot their engagement session.
We met at the always beautiful Crescent Beach on Sunday afternoon . The weather was amazing, and the company brilliant. Stephanie and Chad are smart and caring. A loving couple. And oh so fun! I so wish I would have been available to shoot the wedding this August! Darn. I know it is going to be amazing, because you both are. Maybe an ‘after’ session is in order?!

As I said in the first post, I wanted to share some more favourites from Anna and Max’s engagement session on Saturday. We decided to meet in the middle, so we met at the historic Stewart farm in the Crescent Beach area. It is a great setting, for fun and for photos. It is beautiful there!
What I love most about Anna and Max is the way they love each other.

I would love for you all to meet Anna and Max. They are getting married on May 1st, and I am SO excited for their wedding! We headed out on Saturday to take some photos of them both together. They have been together for five years, and have hardly any photos together. So, on Saturday, I helped to fix that problem. 
The weather was forecast to be rain, and with more rain. However, I think our prayers were answered with SUNSHINE. We had the most beautiful weather, and captured some memories. I LOVED shooting this session so much, that I had too many faves. So, I will blog in two parts. This is part one.
This is the very first photo I took of them. As soon as I took it, I KNEW we would have a lot of fun together!
The apple blossoms were just starting to bloom. I love Spring!
