Welcome to week two weigh in! Week 2, and I am down another 1.6 pounds (which is 5.4 pounds in total) and I totally thought this would be a hard week, and I wouldn’t lose anything. However, I was wrong. I was pleasantly surprised! So, week three begins! I am committed to myself, and to my goals. This week, I went to CrossFit 5x, and I went walk/running 3x this week as well. I am testing out my achilles and my body! So far, feeling pretty good. I don’t want to jinx myself ha ha. I just decided to believe that I can do all things! This girl can do hard things. 🙂
In the past, I was able to run a marathon, several half marathons. I just really want to get the the 5 km distance, or possibly 10 km distance. Those distances are not hard for my body, the longer distances are! These are good distances for conditioning for CrossFit. I just really want to be able to run that dang PIF lap, and the pond loop. However, I think all the time on the Assault bike has been great for my overall cardio. Always something that can be worked on, that is for sure. I won’t be giving up any time soon.
Lately, I have been thinking about my goals and my why. My why is to be able to do the Crossfit Open in February 2018.
For my 46th birthday in October, there is an Inflatable 5 km that looks like fun, and then a week later a novice/beginner competition called Festivus Games. It is teams of two, and because I am in the masters category it might be great! I might want to be able to do that! I think both options would make for a great start to a fresh new birthday year. I need something to look forward to, and is inline with my bigger goals. I am not getting any younger, and I want to do everything I can with my body! I want to enjoy my strengths!! And work on my weaknesses. I think I have more weaknesses at this point. However, I am determined with a passion to change that! I am feeling like I am ready to make big changes in my life.
So, yah. Week two complete, and onto week three! I will update on Friday! 🙂
